Digital Strategy
Working for our client, the fantastic Armitt Museum and Library in Ambleside, we developed a digital strategy to guide them through an ambitious digitisation phase.
Good strategy refelcts the needs of the organisation and we began by thoroughly researching the needs, skills and capacity of the organisation. A strategic analysis was developed to provide a SWOT analysis of the current situation.
Using productive workshopping sessions we then pulled together a strategy that met the needs of the organisation and had buy in from all.
We always look to deliver a bespoke service for our clients and we also ran a workshop on using the software Capture One to aid digitisation.
Port Sunlight AV App
In 2021-22 we collaborated with a portugese software developer, Go Explore in order to develop and deliver a bespoke app for Port Sunlight Village Trust.
Using archival collections and oral histories, as well as cutting-edge technology, we developed storylines and visuals, conducted research and produced content. We also project managed delivery for the client.

Milan to Millennium with Manchester Deaf Centre
Working alongside the British Deaf Museum and the Manchester Deaf Centre, we were responsible for devising and securing funding for a heritage project engaging young deaf people. The aim of the project was to look at the history of deaf people from the Milan Conference in 1892 to the present day and to share this knowledge through a travelling pop-up museum.
We were responsible for the development of a programme of learning for young deaf people to work alongside us to achieve an AQA qualification by learning heritage skills and co-curating the pop-up museum. Our Young Curators developed skills such as object care and handling, interpretive writing, and exhibition design.
Vital Voters at People’s History Museum
November 2019 - March 2020
Vital Voters was a project with People’s History Museum, funded by funded and supported by Nesta, The Speaker’s Art Fund and UK Parliament Education and Engagement.
It sought to empower young people in their approach to democracy and to give them a voice.
We were the Creative Digital Partner, working with a group of teenagers to develop a series of YouTube videos based around key democratic themes, which would engage other young people in the history of democracy.
We provided the following services: Engagement with young people – Archival research – Video and graphic production – Evaluation

Burnage: A Place Called Home
Burnage: A Place Called Home is a National Lottery Heritage Funded project, which celebrates the history and stories of the Manchester Corporation’s housing estates built in the 1920s and 30s.
The project has sought to meet the people who have lived in the Burnage Housing Estates over time and to collect their memories – through oral history recordings and film making – and translate these into a programme of exhibitions, walks and online materials.
We provided the following services: Programming – Outreach – Volunteer management and training – Oral history - Schools work – Exhibition design – Interpretation – Website development – Design and development of learning resources.
